Making a trip to local farms reminds me of my childhood. I was growing up spending most of my time on a small farm near the beach. There is always something to do; you are never bored. I have learned many things, including growing food raising animals, and cooking, of course. This delicious salad was put together with minimal effort, thanks to our local farmers doing all the hard work for us. I hope you enjoy this simple salad.
Nothing better than picking your fresh greens and being with nature, and supporting local businesses suitable for the economy, your body, and your soul. Most local farms allow you to pick your own. You have to wash them well, ensuring that all the dirt and soil washing away. You can use a salad spinner to get all of the excess water out.
Next step, you can start putting it together in a large bowl cut too large leaves to bite-size start building your salad. If you use a large bowl, you will have a salad for a few days.
