The Mediterranean style of cooking is considered to be one of the healthiest of all.

What if we can revise it to make it gluten free?

I am happy to share my story of relearning how to cook gluten-free at home. The past decade has been an eventful journey of discovery about how to change my diet. I was diagnosed with gluten sensitivity.  After getting used to the American diet, I realized I got away from my native diet I grow upon for over 25 years. And my body is reacting to it. I was constipated, blooded, irritated, imagine not having to be able to go and take care of business. It was a difficult time.

The First step of healing is to excepting listening to your body. In this case, Most specifically, listen to what your gut tells you. The gluten-free diet has not been easy to get used to by any means. Whenever I want to enjoy my favorite pastry, I can’t help think how much trouble I will be in later. Thankfully I can have—I wanted to share with you my recipes years of cooking at home. Cooking is a therapy that always helps me be creative. Growing up on a Mediterranean diet was terrific—especially the Black Sea diet. Kale(Pancar Kara Lahana) haven been a staple of this part of the region very hardy and cold-resistant vegetables, great it, and delicious pastries. Baklava, Borek, Poaca, list goes on. Long story short is a hard truth I had to deal with. Fortunately, I am open-minded when it comes to cooking. It may be a blessing for the remarkable journey of a challenge to seek a better way of wholesome and gluten-free home cooking.   

Every recipe on our website is designed to be Gluten-free. Most recipes are modified to change the ingredients to keep the dish’s texture and flavor as authentic as possible. You know what they say. What you don’t know doesn’t heart you! In my case, this theory failed. I was in pain by not realizing it was gluten. Coming from a culture that bread knows as stable of every meal period. It was the most difficult to give up. 

My mission is to help families regain their confidence and knowledge in the kitchen and cooking. You like it or not, it is part of our life. Everyone one of us has to eat and eat well to have the energy to live our lives.  Ongoing pandemic has put too much stress on everyone, but the bright side is that it gets us closer. Collaboration is a must to have healthy relations with loved ones and help each other share, listen, and understand. We hope that you enjoy our site and try our recipes!
